Clonoe o'Rahilly's club notes

April 09, 2018

Last week's lotto numbers were 1, 13, 15 and 19.There were no jackpot winners. One match three numbers; Anne Hanna Gorteven. Next week's jackpot £2,175.

Pride of place this week goes to two ladies who have been great stalwarts off our club over many years; Nellie McKee and Goretti Hughes who were both honored at a function in Garvaghey on Friday night. Both ladies received the CREDA medal which is awarded  to club people that have given over fifty years' service to their club, well done to both.

The seniors continued their league campaign with an away game to Edendork. After a slow start in which Clonoe were trailing by 7 at one stage they fought back to level the game but Edendork got the last score to win by a point.

The u14s travelled to Dunganonn last Saturday. In what was a high scoring affair the young Rahilly lads were beat on a score line of 7.08 to 7.06.

The club would like to thank all the people who took part in the celebrations over the last weekend, a special word off thanks to our jailbirds who had to spend a night in Crumlin Road jail on just bread and water. Your efforts were greatly appreciated.

Our Go Games start this Wednesday night at half 6, all are welcomed to attend. Also our u12s start on Sunday morning at 11.

Sympathy is also extended to Helen Doris on the death of her sister Tina, may she Rest In Peace.

The club sends deepest sympathy to Michael and Catherine Devlin on the death of baby Paudie,  also to the McNiece family on the death of Joey and to the  Kelly and Wylie  families on their  recent sad bereavement.
