Devlin to take Tyrone U20 post

Paul Devlin is set to become Tyrone's new U20 manager

Former Tyrone minor boss Paul Devlin is set to become his county's first ever U20 football manager.

Devlin co-managed the Red Hands minors alongside Iggy Gallagher for the past two seasons, winning an Ulster league title in 2017 before exiting the northern province's championship to eventual winners Derry in the opening round.

The Irish News reports that county board chairperson Roisin Jordan will ask the county committee to confirm Devlin's appointment in the next few days.

It is understood that Gallagher will not be part of Devlin's backroom team as the Trillick clubman has already said he won't be putting his name forward for the role.
