Coláiste Eoin grabbed a dramatic late win at Netwatch Cullen Park

Coláiste Eoin (Dublin) 1-16

St Kieran’s College (Kilkenny) 0-17

A late Dara Puirséil goal handed Coláiste Eoin a dramatic victory over holders St Kieran's College in the Corn Uí Dhúill (Leinster Colleges Post Primary SHC ‘A’) final at Netwatch Cullen Park this afternoon.

Kieran's had one hand on the cup before the centre forward soloed through to score the only goal and secure a first success at this level for the Stillorgan outfit.

There was little to separate the sides who were level nine times, including at the break when they were tied on 0-6 each. But Coláiste Eoin were that little bit hungrier and eventually wore down their much-vaunted Kilkenny opponents thanks in no small part to the accuracy of Breandán O Scanláin and Pádraigh Ó Luineacáin, who scored 0-8 between them.
