Reigning champions UCC are through to the semi-finals of the Fitzgibbon Cup after seeing off UCD at the Mardyke this evening.
Tom Kingston's side ran out comfortable 1-20 to 2-12 winners and will now face either IT Carlow or NUIG for a place in the decider.
Kingston's nephew and Cork star Shane, netted UCC's goal on 24 minutes to give them a healthy 1-13 to 1-4 half-time advantage.
The visitors were awarded an early penalty which Ronan Hayes converted but were unable to match the scoring power of the UCC forwards.
A repeat of the 2019 final could be on the cards after Mary Immaculate College booked their last-four place today when beating Limerick rivals UL after extra-time.
