Brian Cody has added Martin Comerford to his Kilkenny senior hurling backroom team for the 2020 season.

The six-time All-Ireland winner has been ratified to join DJ Carey and James McGarry as a selector as Cody puts the finishing touches to preparations for his 22nd year at the helm of the Cats.

Derek Lyng, who has replaced Carey as Under 20 manager, and Michael Dempsey stepped down in the aftermath of the All-Ireland SHC final defeat to Tipperary.
