Johnny Glynn and Joseph Cooney will both be available to Galway for the Leinster senior hurling championship.

An All Star nominee last year, New York based target man Glynn is expected to hook up with Micheal Donoghue’s squad again in the coming weeks ahead of the provincial opener against Carlow on May 12th, while Cooney – who also missed the entire league – will return home from Australia later this week.

Getting both men on board represents a major boost for the reigning Leinster champions, with inspirational attacker Joe Canning set to miss most of the 2019 championship after undergoing groin surgery and Conor Cooney also currently sidelined with an ankle injury.
