Following on from the news that Limerick County Board have secured a 10-year partnership for the naming rights of the Gaelic Grounds, the Shannonsiders are looking to redevelop Mick Neville Park.

The naming rights have been secured by Limerick IT and the venue will now be called LIT Gaelic Grounds for the next ten years at least.

With this partnership secured, the Limerick County Board have a planning application for a new 600-seater stand, four new dressingrooms and a gym at their ‘second home’ Mick Neville Park in Rathkeale.

The cost of the redevelopment is in the region of €1 million according to the Limerick Leader.
