Limerick GAA TV set to be launched

March 15, 2019

The live cameras will be out again at GAA venues around the country this weekend.

In the coming weeks, Limerick GAA supporters will be able to view their own TV channel.

Following in the footsteps of the likes of Armagh and Mayo, Limerick have decided to launch their own online channel which will broadcast games in the local club hurling and football championships.

“We are looking at Limerick GAA TV, where rounds of the club championships will be broadcast live with interviews and other content as well,” The Limerick Leader reported County GAA secretary Mike O’Riordan as stating at their monthly County Board meeting.

“The new website is up and running at the moment – it is way easier to get results and fixtures and the latest news, club notes and the various GAA documents. All the various advertisers are on that also.”

The new channel is set to be a pay-per-view service and it is hoped that it will be a major success.
