Cork forward Robbie O'Flynn was hospitalised with suspected concussion after suffering a head injury in yesterday's Munster SHC win over Clare.
The championship debutant was stretchered off in a neck brace following a heavy second half collision with team-mate Conor Lehane at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
"It's a bang to the head," Cork manager John Meyler said.
"He's probably concussed, but the medical staff are very good and he's gone to the Regional for a CAT scan or whatever. We send him best wishes."
Clare joint-manager Donal Moloney also wished the Erin's Own youngster well: "I hope Robbie O'Flynn is okay because that looked a fairly hefty clash. You wouldn't like to see that happen to any player."
