"We'll enjoy today but all it does is get us into the next round. We'll keep the head down and wait for two weeks' time."

After masterminding the defeat of Tyrone, Monaghan boss Malachy O'Rourke will be up against his native Fermanagh in the last four of the Anglo Celt Cup race.

"Obviously the crucial period of the game was before half-time when we were two up and suddenly we were two down. That meant that we had a battle on our hands in the second-half considering that we were going to play against the breeze."

The qualifiers beckon for Mickey Harte and Tyrone.

"Delighted, great heart, great work-rate… a lot of quality. I thought we were, by a good stretch, the better team. We felt we had a great chance of winning the game and we're delighted we did."

Fermanagh's players justified Rory Gallagher's faith in them against Armagh.

"We were bad today. There is no point in saying any different.  or seven points in 70-80 minutes is not a good performance by any standard."

Kieran McGeeney faces a difficult task in lifting his team's spirits ahead of the qualifiers.

"It's an absolute disgrace. I don't know how they came up with the decision and that's being straight and honest. A year's planning and at the stroke of a pen they put it all into jeopardy."

Tipperary have only six days to prepare for their Munster SHC semi-final clash with Cork and Liam Kearns is not a happy camper.

"You'd have to be happy with the application of the lads and the way they performed but it's Division 2 against Division 4 and that's what stood out."

The gulf in class between the Premier County and Waterford was plain for all to see, according to Tom McGlinchey.

"We will have plenty of work, there are lots if things to tidy up on but please God we can do that and give a good performance in Killarney."

Clare's reward for their 12-point win over Limerick is a semi-final date with Kerry and Colm Collins is looking forward to the challenge.

"Tonight we had a lad who was due to be on the bench. Because of inaccuracies in our administration I couldn't use him. I'd to tell the lad afterwards he couldn't play and he was distraught."

Limerick boss Billy Lee threatened to boycott the game after an administrative error meant he couldn't call on the services of Jim Liston.
