St Kierans are through a fifth successive All Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior A Hurling Championship final.
The Roll of Honour leaders defeated Harty Cup winners Ardscoil Ris by 0-19 to 1-14 in this afternoon's semi-final in Clonmel (a repeat of the 2016 All-Ireland final) to set up a Croke Cup decider with Presentation College, Athenry on Saturday week.
It was looking good for the Limerick college when Rian Considine netted in the 42nd minute and a Diarmuid Ryan brace tied the scores up at 1-11 to 0-14.
But the Kilkenny standard bearers finished strongest to march on, with Adrian Mullen, Conor Kelly and Eoin O'Shea hitting a combined total of 15 points between them.
The final will be staged in Thurles on March 31st.
