Donegal boss Declan Bonner has confirmed that goalkeeper Mark Anthony McGinley is back fit and in the running to line-out between the posts against Tyrone this Saturday night.
McGinley endured a hamstring injury during the McKenna Cup back in January which cleared the way for Peter Boyle to start the Tir Chonaill men's first three games of the Allianz League.
Boyle recently quit the panel, with Gaoth Dobhair's Michael Carroll following suit this week, and it looks as though the number one jersey for this weekend is now between McGinley, St Eunan's Shaun Patton and former minor and U21 'keeper Danny Rodgers.
"Mark Anthony McGinley is now back training and at present we are going with two 'keepers and that's the way it is," Bonner is quoted saying by The Irish News.
"Mark Anthony was out for a few weeks so it was good to see him back."
On the recent injury to St Eunan's defender Conor Morrison, Bonner added: "We won't know about Conor until later in the week but it is looking fairly serious."Tweet
