Offaly champions Kilcormac-Killoughey will be without midfield ace Cillian Kiely for Sunday's Leinster club SHC final against Cuala.

The Offaly senior star has had his appeal against the red card he received against Mount Leinster Rangers two weeks ago rejected, meaning he won't be able to play any part against the Dublin outfit in Portlaoise this weekend.

Kiely received his marching orders after 25 minutes in Tullamore after he appeared to drive the butt of his hurl into the back of MLR's Diarmuid Byrne.

This Sunday sees Kilcormac-Killoughey ranked as 9/2 outsiders to cause an upset against the All-Ireland champions at O'Moore Park.
