Mayo clubs benefit from Connacht GAA

The Mayo County Board have been informed that 12 clubs in the county have received grant aid from the Connacht Council.

The packages range from €1,000 to €20,000 with the Kiltimagh club receiving the largest sum to go towards redevelopment work they are carrying out at the moment.

Other clubs to benefit from the funding were Garrymore (€10,000), Ballinrobe (€3,900), Breaffy (€2,500), Ballaghaderreen (€2,500), Ballyhaunis (€2,500), Islandeady (€2,500), Balla (€2,000), Louisburgh, Charlestown, Swinford and The Neale were all awarded (€1,000).

Another two clubs have their applications pending as Knockmore and Parke/Keelogues/Crimlin all await word.
