Harte wary of Rossies

Tyrone manager Mickey Harte is in no doubt that Saturday’s Super 8’s opponents Roscommon will be seeking some form of redemption when they meet at Dr Hyde Park.

Last year, Tyrone handed out a hammering to the Rossies in the Super 8’s, but Harte believes the result will be a lot tighter this time around.

“They will not fear us,” Harte told the Ulster Herald. “They will feel that they have become a really better team than they were last year because they leaked a lot of scores last year in all of the Super 8 games. I think they have tidied that up.

“They are much more difficult to break down now and are a more confident team, a more physical team, more physically imposing team.

“This is not the Roscommon team that played last year and for anybody to expect that sort of outcome next Saturday would be foolish.”
