Eoin Brosnan has called time on his illustrious 22-year senior club career with Dr Crokes.

The 38-year-old former Kerry star came on as a second-half substitute on Sunday as the Kerry champions were beaten by Corofin in the All-Ireland Club SFC final at Croke Park.

He took to Twitter this morning to announce that he was hanging up his boots and to congratulate Corofin on their magnificent victory.

Brosnan, who won eight Kerry SFC medals and six Munster titles with Dr Crokes, as well as an All-Ireland in 2017, vowed to cheer the black and amber on from the sideline.

The decorated Dr Crokes ace also won three All-Irelands and seven Munster SFCs with Kerry before retiring from intercounty football in 2013.
