Enniskillen Gaels' Richard O'Callaghan and Ciaran Flaherty of Belcoo have been given a chance to resurrect their inter-county careers by Fermanagh manager Rory Gallagher.

The Irish News reports that the pair have returned to the fold ahead of tomorrow's Dr McKenna Cup opener against Ulster University in Derrygonnelly. Neither have previously featured under Gallagher, but aren't short of inter-county experience, having made their championship debuts in 2011 and 2010 respectively.

Fermanagh have lost Ryan McCluskey, Pat Cadden and Eamon Maguire to retirement since last season's campaign, which saw the Erne County reach their first Ulster SFC final in a decade. Other new additions to the panel are Derrygonnelly's Garvan Jones, Johnny Cassidy of Enniskillen Gaels and Belnaleck's Dara McGurn.
