Team news: Three debutants named in Laois side for season opener

Laois have named three debutants in their side for Saturday's SF season opener at O'Moore Park.

Scott Osbourne (Portarlington, goalkeeper), Adam Campion (St Josephs, right corner-back) and Sean Byrne (Portarlington, left half-forward) will be given their first opportunity of inter-county senior football when John Sugrue's team face Meath in the O'Byrne Cup tomorrow evening (throw-in 6pm).

This year's captain Stephen Attride returns at right half-back after suffering a double fracture to his skull in the Leinster semi-final against Carlow last June.
