Abbeylara booked their place in the Longford SFC final for a fourth year in-a-row after a 1-10 to 0-10 win over Colmcille at Glennon Bros Pearse Park yesterday.
It was Conor Berry's second-half goal that proved to be the difference for Danny Brady's outfit who were without influential county star Robbie Smyth through injury.
After losing the previous three finals, Abbey' will look to make it fourth time lucky when they take on Mullinalaghta or Clonguish in the Sean Connolly Cup decider.
Holders Mullinalaghta will face Clonguish in the other semi-final on Saturday evening next after the latter defeated Dromard at the second attempt yesterday, 2-9 to 1-7.
