Cian Johnson will lead the Offaly attack in Monday's Leinster U20FC opener against Carlow at Netwatch Cullen Park.

The Leaving Cert student was a regular for the Faithful seniors this year under the now-departed Stephen Wallace but was deemed ineligible to play in their recent Leinster SFC defeat to Wicklow.

Johnson is one of three Ferbane players in the side managed by Kilclonfert's Declan Kelly with Kyle Higgins and Sean Ibbotson linking up in midfield.

Offaly (Leinster U20FC v Carlow): Barry Rohan; Ronan Hynes, Pa Robilliard, Aidan Bracken; Jack Quinn, Ed Bennett, Jack O'Brien; Kyle Higgins, Sean Ibbotson; Kevin McDermott, Conor Dunne, Shane O'Toole Greene; Cian Johnson, Cian Farrell, Shane O'Brien.
