The Mayo ladies football legend shipped a heavy blow just before half-time, but returned for the second half with her nose bandaged up.
She scored three behinds in the second quarter to help the Giants to their first win of the season. GWS Giants coach Alan McConnell told the club's website that she would require an x-ray on her "bent" nose, adding that she may not be in a position to fly back to Sydney with her team-mates.
Cora is wished a speedy recovery.
