It was a case of mission accomplished for Corofin and their manager Kevin O'Brien in Ruislip this afternoon.

The Galway and Connacht champions recovered from a slow start to register their expected victory over Fulham Irish, which sets up an All-Ireland club SFC semi-final showdown with Moorefield on February 17.

"Job done, we're delighted to get out of here," O'Brien told the Irish Times.

"The conditions again today, the pitch was in excellent shape but it was slippery on top. I think there were a lot of cobwebs out there from not having played since the Connacht final six weeks ago.

"Hopefully the game will bring us on a bit but we've a lot of work to do."
