Bonkers scheduling

(Oldest Posts First)

How bonkers is it that the Minor B county hurling final was only played at the weekend. It ended in a draw so the final of a competition that started over 6 months ago will only finish next weekend on the 20th november. Even with the break in june for exams that is incredibly poor scheduling. Burgess will have played 7 maybe 8 games in that time, even if players are involved in u21, junior b/c etc that is not good enough

Im from Limerick and we have the same crazy scheduling also...for example the County Intermediate Football League started the 29th of March...the final of this competition is down for the 26th of November...granted teams involved in the league final also met in the Championship final its hard to understand some of the fixtures...weeks of a break during the summer where nothing was played

Again this is just crazy, playing the final of a championship that started back in april in december and in that time teams played maybe 4 maybe 5 games

Burgess won the u21 final beating Eire Og, 18 points to 3-6.
Some scoring considering the conditions

the County Junior "B" Football Final was played today. Commercials beat Rockwell Rovers by 1-7 to 1-5. All Ireland Minor winners Colman Kennedy and Evan Comerford got the vital scores for Commercials. Some change from playing in Croke Park before 82,000 people to a Junior "B" Final. Fair play to both young lads.
