New Rules

(Oldest Posts First)

Just wondering whats the opinion on the new rules? the square ball in hurling i think should remain. its going to be impossible for goalkeepers as you'll just have full forwards standing on the line. i can see a situation where lobbing high balls into the square will become the tactic with big full forwards just hoovering in front of the goalie and pulling when they get a glimpse of the ball. in time if this tactic works you'll see the end of good hurling full forwards and being replaced by big "butchers"!

if the rule change is a success in football but not in hurling can they keep it for one and not the other????
