Tipperary manager Michael Ryan expects to know more today over the extent of the injury Seamus Callanan picked up in yesterday's victory over Clare.
The big Drom-Inch man was forced off in the late stages of the Premier men's All-Ireland quarter-final clash at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, contributing 0-7 to the win, with Ryan admitting afterwards that he was unsure of the exact details of his full-forward's injury.
"Seamus Callanan has ice on his elbow, to be honest after that I don't know," the Tipp boss stated.
"The initial news I got on the sideline was that his fingers were in trouble - does that mean broke, I honestly don't know.
"The medics will be all over it. We'll know for sure within 24 hours."
Tipp will learn their opponents for the semi-final by tomorrow morning at the latest, with Waterford and Wexford set to square off in this afternoon's remaining quarter-final at the newly reopened Cork venue.
