Tipperary champions Moyle Rovers look set to have to plan without former Tipperary captain Peter Acheson for this weekend’s Munster club SFC clash against Dr Crokes.

Acheson was one of the star performers in last Sunday’s county final win over Ardfinnan when a strong second half performance saw Rovers ease to a comfortable win.

They face a much sterner test in the guise of Dr Crokes this Sunday, one that has been made all the more harder by the fact that Acheson won’t be there.

The experienced player is based in Dubai for work and only flew back for last weekend’s county final and has returned to his job since, meaning he is unlikely to fly back again this weekend.

Crokes are 1/10 favourites to see off the challenge of the Tipp champs and they looked very impressive during their county final win over Dingle last Sunday.
