Clonoulty-Rossmore moved one step closer to a first Tipperary SHC success since 1997 with a six-point semi-final win over Toomevara today.
The scoreboard read Clonoulty-Rossmore 0-19, Toomevara 1-10 when the final whistle was sounded in the first installment of today’s semi-final double header at Semple Stadium.
Timmy Hammersly top scored with 0-8 for the winners who led by 0-10 to 0-5 at the halfway stage.
They will now take on Nenagh Eire Og - who were surprise 2-18 to 2-15 winners of five-in-a-row chasing Thurles Sarsfields - in the decider.
