Team news: Three debutants for Deise

Waterford will blood three championship debutants when they take on Tipperary in the Munster SFC quarter-final at Semple Stadium this evening.

Billy O'Keeffe (Gaultier), Shane Ryan (The Nire) and Kieran Power (Dungarvan) are the trio of newcomers in Tom McGlinchey's starting 15.

The Deise's preparations for the championship opener have been hampered by the loss of captain Paul Whyte due to a persistent hip injury.
