July 22, 2017

Donegal maintained their vice-like grip on the Andrew O'Neill Cup when registering a 1-14 to 0-12 All-Ireland U-21 HC 'C' final victory over Sligo in Markievicz Park this evening.

The Tom Hennessy coached team are celebrating the county's third title in-a-row at this grade.

Oisin Rooney's 3rd minute goal proved to be the game's decisive moment.

It helped establish a 1-7 to 0-6 interval lead for the winners.

Full-forward Joe McHugh found the target with five frees for the Yeats County but his efforts went unrewarded.
