It was with deep sadness we learned of the passing of Ann Gallagher of Clooncagh last week.

Wife of our President Mickey Gallagher, Ann is without doubt one of the unsung heroes of the club, and an example of all that is great about the GAA. Ann never looked for the limelight but all through her life was involved in the background of the club and an integral part of the ladies committee or any area that need a help out. She was always available to assist and while her untiring work in our parish will be greatly missed the loss to a family steeped in the tradition of the club is immeasurable. We extend our heart felt sympathy to Mickey, Adrian, Enda, Raymond, Karen, Elaine, Deirdre and Fiona, her sons and daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
