Linnane, PJ

The Late Pj Linnane

Everyone in the St Michael's GAA Club and surrounding area is still reeling at the fact that our own PJ Linnane passed away two weeks ago. He was a founder member of the club in 1983 and was part of everything that is good about club football since that time.

His tireless workrate for this club and community is greatly appreciated by all involved and any successful project taken on by the club had PJ's name written all over it. He was totally involved in the planning of our new development of pitches and training areas at Ballintogher which is still in progress.

His quiet way endeared him to all and he minded and mentored all who went through his hands as coach, officer or friend both on and off the pitch. He will be remembered as a loyal, witty, hardworking clubman and gentlemen who will be sorely missed by all who knew him and especially by all at this club.

We send deepest sympathy to his wife Noreen, his daughters Judith and Deirdre and sons Gerard and David and his extended family.

Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.
