Warwickshire 2-17

Sligo will face Armagh in the Nicky Rackard Cup final at Croke Park on Saturday week, June 22 after a late goal from dual star Gerard O'Kelly-Lynch sealed victory over Warwickshire in today's semi-final at Celtic Park.

Keith Raymond's contribution of 0-9 and 0-4 from Tony O'Kelly-Lynch also proved decisive as the Yeats County came from four points down at half-time to win by the same margin.

Willie Allen top-scored with 0-8 for Warwickshire who led by 1-5 to 0-4 after 16 minutes thanks to Pauric Crehan's goal. Crehan raised another green flag when he first-timed to the net late in the half to send the Exiles into the interval with a 2-8 to 0-10 lead.

Sligo started the second half strongly and edged ahead in the 45th minute when Kevin Gilmartin goaled, 1-14 to 2-10. Allen levelled before Raymond edged the winners back in front from a '65.

Sligo were clinging onto a narrow lead before O'Kelly-Lynch netted in the final minute to finally put the result beyond doubt.
