All-Ireland Club JFC final: Brilliant Beaufort turn on the style

Goals from Ronan Ferris, Ciaran Kennedy and Liam Carey sent Beaufort on the road to All-Ireland Club JFC glory at Croke Park this afternoon.

The Kerry and Munster champions cruised to a 3-17 to 0-5 final victory over Easkey of Sligo at GAA HQ.

Centre forward Carey top scored for the winners with 1-5 while Fergal Hallissey contributed 0-5 (4 frees) to his side’s winning tally.

The game was effectively over as a contest at the halfway stage with the winners 3-8 to 0-1 to the good.

Team captain Eugene Mullen registered Easkey’s solitary first-half point and the second-half followed a similar pattern with Beaufort running out 21-point winners.
