Sheeeee ! Dont tell those iluded Leitrim people that the Rossies now have a team and are not depending on Donie Shine or any other shining star either. I only worry about the Rossies who still have the idea that any one star is indispensible. They better change their attitude before taking the field in C-on-Shannon. Donie Shine is a fine player and very important, but equally there are several others as important if not more important to the Rossies' cause. Let's think "team", folks !!!

I have said this before. Shine is NOT Roscommons best forward. That accolade is with Senan Kilbride. And providing he stays injury free will be the player leitrim have to curtail, more than Shine.

Roscommon played Louth in a challenge match last evening in Darver Co. Louth, the game ended with Roscommon winning on a score line of Roscommon 2-17 1-15 Louth.

Senan Kilbride had an excellent game, Donal Shine also played well, Roscommon's big no.9 (don't know his name) on the evening played well when moved into the forward line in the second half.
Kilbride is a class player no doubt about that.

Thanks for the info squidword, at least we have something of some worth in this stupid thread. Where scoring alot in challenge games but the biggest worry is the amount we continue to let in.

Shaft16, will you go and lie down somewhere. Donie Shine is not injured. We know that. And even if he was, we have plenty of cover. As Rosfan mentioned, Senan Kilbride is the boy ye will have to keep a sharp eye on. If the Leitrim back line focus all of their attention on Shine there could be trouble for them in Carrick.

In respone to Jack L, Taffin feels that Leitrim are the ones that must make a statement with a demolition job on Roscommon. A literal demolition job though, get a few diggers and bulldozers in, we should clear it all out, sink it, and turn it into one massive water feature.
