The late Hugh Gaynor The death occurred on Wednesday, April 11th 2007 of Hugh (Hughie) Gaynor of Knockroe, Castlerea. Predeceased by his mother Maureen on July 4th 2000. He played football with Castlerea St Kevin's in the 1980's and 1990's. Winning a county Community Games Championship in 1986 and a county minor championship in 1990. He also played Connaught minor league with Roscommon. His remains were removed from Gaynor's Funeral Home to St Patricks Church, Castlerea after Mass of the Resurrection, burial took place in St Joseph's cemetery. He is survived by his father Tommy, Knockroe, Castlerea; brother Pat, Chicago; Paul Knockroe, Castlerea, sisters Jean (bertagh), Corlis, Castlerea; Shirley (Larkin) Tarmon, Castlerea Deirdre (Quinn), Collougher, Castlerea, brother in law, sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and by his many friends and by his many friends and football colleagues.
