The late Pauline McHugh The death took place at the Mater Hospital, Dublin of Mrs Pauline McHugh, Grangegibbon, Kilbeggan, who was the former Miss Pauline Mannion of the Hill of Berries, Kiltoom. Aged 55, she was the only daughter of the late Dennis and the late Linda Mannion, the Berries, and she bore her final long illness with characteristic dignity and fortitude. Of a friendly and jovial disposition, she was a devoted wife and mother and she retained many lasting friendships in her native Kiltoom over the years due to her natural affability and genuine nature. In her teens she played camogie with the St Bridgid's GAA Club and, prior to emigrating to England, she worked as an office clerk at O'Meara's Garage, Baylough, Athlone, for some time. She had resided in London for some years before returning to Ballinagore to establish a general grocery business with her husband, P.C., who is a native of Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim. She is survived by her husband, P.C., sons, Breffny, Florida; Connor, London and Darren, Bolton Street College of Technology, Dublin. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael, London; Eugene, the Berries, Kiltoom, Ultan, the Berries; Tom, the Berries and Frankie, London. Following Concelebrated Mass at St James's Church, Kilbeggan, the burial took place to Relic cemetery. The celebrants of the Mass included Very Rev. John Cullen, P.P, Kiltoom and Cam.
