The Late Ray Gill There is widespread shock and sadness in the parish of Tulsk following the untimely and tragic death of Ray Gill. The deceased lost his life in a tragic road traffic accident at Corlis, Castlerea, not far from his home. The late Ray Gill was a very popular man in Tulsk parish and was held in the highest of esteem by all who knew him. Employed with Jordan Commercials Company in Strokestown, the late Ray Gill was also a farmer. A keen sportsman, Ray played for a many years for Tulsk GAA Club and also played soccer as a member of the C.P. Ajax team. Also a keen pool player, Ray also won county honours as a member of the Egan's Bar pool team. The late Ray Gill was predeceased by his father James and is survived by his wife Ann-Marie, baby son Ciaran, mother Annie and sister Alison Mee.
