Roscommon have received a double boost ahead of their All-Ireland SFC quarterfinal on July 30th.

Both Diarmuid Murtagh and Cathal Compton have resumed full training having recovered from knocks picked up in recent weeks, meaning the duo will be available for selection for the last eight clash.

Murtagh was forced off with an ankle injury during the surprise Connacht SFC final win over Galway, but he has full recovered and is set to take his place in the side on Sunday week.

Compton was due to start the provincial decider, but an injury picked up in training the week before ruled him out, but he is now back in contention for a starting place.

Roscommon will know their opponents following this weekend's Round 4A qualifiers between Mayo and Cork and Donegal v. Galway. If the Ulster side win, a draw will be needed, but the Rossies cannot face Galway again at this stage.
