Tyrone and Donegal were the winners of today's Nicky Rackard Cup Round 2 clashes.

After getting off to a flying start last weekend with victory over Louth. Tyrone made it two wins from two when they defeated Monaghan 2-19 to 1-10 at Carrickmore.

The Red Hands led 2-9 to 1-5 at half time. Full forward Conor Grogan netted their two goals while Tadgh Campbell was the scorer of Monaghan's goal.

A Sean McVeigh goal proved to be the difference as Donegal defeated Roscommon 1-16 to 0-16 at Athleague.

With Gerry Fallon in fine scoring form, Roscommon led at the interval 0-10 to 0-7. However, McVeigh second half strike spurred the Green and Gold onto victory. Tweet
