Results: hard luck to the ladies junior team who were defeated by Claregalway in the Connaught semi final last Saturday in O’Rourke Park (see report elsewhere). Thanks to the panel and management for their commitment during the year. Thanks to all club members who worked so hard last Saturday to stage the game and the ladies who provided the refreshments for both teams and the match officials after the game. Fixtures: the boys u12 team play Elphin/Ballinameen in the division one summer league next Thursday in O’Rourke Park at 6-15pm and the girls u16 team play Roscommon Gaels in the division two championship semi final next Wednesday at 7-30pm in Lisnamult. Numbers drawn on the night were 3, 7, 27 and 30. €50 winners on the night were Seamus Conneally Roscommon, Margaret Murphy, Eddie Rowntree, Barry Gill and Ciaran Forbes(jnr). Next weeks jackpot is €12,100 and the draw takes place in The Cosy on Friday 11th October. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5.
