Roscommon manager Anthony Cunningham has urged his players to end the year on a winning note.
They meet Cork in a dead-rubber Super 8’s clash on Sunday as both sides are out of the championship with a round to spare.
Nonetheless, Cunningham believes it would be a good end to the year if they could record a win over what he believes is an ever-improving Cork side.
“Cork are not going to be easy,” Cunningham told the Roscommon Herald. “They’re definitely the most-improved team in the Super 8’s this year relative to 2018 and they’re going to be a tough nut crack.
“For us, we’re really looking forward to it and we want to wrap up the year with a positive result.”
