Action from the clash of Meath and Roscommon in Dunshaughlin

Kerry and Meath advanced to the last four of the All-Ireland U21 H 'B' competition today.

The Kingdom knocked Kildare out of the running thanks to a 2-22 to 2-11 quarter-final victory at the Gaelic Grounds.

First-half goals from Fionan Mackessy and Micheal Leane laid the foundations for the victory and they enjoyed a commanding 2-13 to 1-3 advantage at the break.

Jack Sheridan raised green flags in either half for the Lilywhites but his efforts proved to be in vain.

Earlier in the day, the Royals strolled to a 1-22 to 0-6 last eight success over Roscommon in Dunshaughlin.

The team in green and gold were 0-13 to 0-0 to the good at the halfway stage and the second-half followed a similar pattern.

Ben McGowan netted the game's only goal and they await the winners of tomorrow's clash between Mayo and Derry in the last four.
