 Intermediates

St Aidan's V Kilbride

Our Intermediates suffered their first defeat this year at the hands of Kilbride in the first round of the Championship. It was a blustery and wet day in the Hyde and our lads simply never got going in the game.  We opened the scoring with a point from play but that was all we would score in the first half playing into a strong wind. Half time score Kilbride 2-05 St Aidan's 0-01. The lads rallied a bit in the second half but Kilbride were the better team on the day and proved worthy winners in a final score of 2-08 to 1-06. We travel to Tarmonbarry next Saturday evening on the second round of the Championship so lets hope the team can regroup and get back on track for this game. Please see fixtures to confirm the time for this game.
