Hi,
Just if you like me fancy the odd flutter I'm sure we can use this to help each other with tips on maybe sports we don't know much about and fleece those bookies. I'll start it off by giving my tip for this weekend
I think Bernard Hopkins is serious value at 11/4 for his fight with Dawson. He's 47 now but he keeps rewriting the history books and I'd say this a real 50/50 fight following their controversial no contest earlier this year.

bernard came up short for me too unfortunately. but brisbane broncos bilbao real madrid chelsea spurs and ulster gave me a nice little accum. My tip today is snooker back whoever comes out on top between robertson and o'sullivan in their qf. Both are playing far better then anyone else with the exception of hendry but doubt he can keep it going.

Kenlim 8/11 is hardly a tip. Bit of value at 7/4 stoppage.

HOMECOMING QUEEN [EW] 1000 Guineas NEWMARKET 3:15
AIDAN O'BRIEN'S second string will give you a big run for your money.............the going at newmarket will be soft and very testing for the fillies.......however HOMECOMING QUEEN has winning form over a mile on soft ground ............an out and out front runner who will take a bit of passing.........top jockey RYAN MOORE takes the ride............other horses may look more appealing to people, but be assured this o'brien filly will be bang in contention throughout the race.

Had homecoming queen each way, good weekend for me. Had O Kane to win the prizefighter at 7/4. He was lucky but thankfully got the decision. I have the Sunday Mirror to thank for Homecoming Queen, big write up similar to Gammys! Windsor Palace won at the curragh today beating St. Nicholas abbey. Windsor was 66/1 and it looked a bit dodge, Joseph O Brien waited far too long to catch the winner. The coolmore boys definitely had us!

jonny1951.....i didn't see the article in the paper...........i done my homework on the race and HOMECOMING QUEEN was the stand out bet..................MAYBE, o'briens other horse in the race is without doubt the better horse..........but things didn't really favour her yesterday...............she was having her first race of the year and i really liked the way she stayed on at the finish........... she never ever looked like winning though ............but MAYBE will come on a ton for yesterday's race and i reckon she'll be seen to better effect over the longer distance of the oaks........... if she gets good, good to soft ground i think she could be a good bet .......i wouldn't be backing her until the day however as there are too many things that can go wrong in the interim...........if she does make the line up then there won't be any better horse in the race.....TAKE NOTE

Gammy I didn't say you saw the article I was making a joke because your post was so detailed like a newspaper preview. And I agree with what you said on Maybe, but to say the horse will be back is hardly rocket science! The pedigree is there.

knights 6/5 at home to cowboys in nrl tomorrow morning.
Carl froch is 15/8 to beat lucien bute in a couple of weeks serious value. Bute has never been seriously tested and hasnt faced top quality competition also froch has home advantage of fighting in Nottingham.

Chelsea host Blackburn on Sunday. Blues manager Roberto Di Matteo is giving youth a chance, regardless, I'd expect Chelsea to wallop an already relegated Rovers. Over 3.5 goals in the match (4 goals +) 11/10 (PP).
