Well-known Offaly football referee Noel Cooney has been honoured for his remarkable service and longevity.
Offaly county board secretary Pat Horan made a special presentation to the Erin Rovers clubman, who has officiated at all levels, before he embarked on his 40th year as a referee during the week.
