Blueandgold, Peter is a fine talent. Seen him play most of his club games last couple of years and he is an outstanding talent - but - he is in risk of burnout. Only a few months ago there was the problem with his hamstrings. And it wasnt just a pulled hamstring it was a more serious matter. He was thrown in too young IMO this year. Its ok to go out and win games for Bracknagh on his own, but there is a big difference to playing average intermediate club sides to playing Senior county teams. He should be giving game time in the O Byrne and League next year to help him adapt. Great player though and will go a long way - if he puts his mind to it. Have a feeling bracknagh can go far in the Intermediate this year. Good few young players coming through.

I agree with the man. Good talent but way too young needs game time in a good set up.
However its hard to see a manager like coffey providing that set up.

Yes it is great to see young talent coming through for Offaly, God knows we need it and does it reeally matter what level these players are playing at.
Burn out is an issue here but the biggest issue that is way more serious is the drinking culture which goes hand in hane with our underage players and as for Bracknagh - win lose or draw they all head off on a bender for a couple of days. Have witnessed this myself around Port
As for Peter winning games for Bracknagh by himself - guys get a life - ye are probably the same people who could not see past Frank Weir and David Connolly years ago forgetting about the Dempsey's who were probably the best footballers never to play for the county.

offaly 2010- No body asked u to comment on the drinking culture of any person or club, i wud like u to give an example of any club that does not go n a bender after a match, all the question was is peter cunningham going to be one of the finest offaly have seen.
