Former League of Ireland duo Niall Corbett and Garry Comerford are among five debutants in the Laois side to face Offaly in tomorrow's O'Byrne Cup clash at Portarlingoton.

Clonaslee man Corbett has been handed the goalkeeper's jersey by new manager Mike Quirke, while Stradbally native Comerford, who plays his club football with Ballincollig in Cork, lines out at wing forward.

The other newcomers are Jason Moore (Portarlingoton), Darragh Connolly (Ballyfin) and Diarmuid Whelan (Ballyroan-Abbey).

The O'Moore County suffered a double blow ahead of their season opener after brothers Donie and Paul Kingston's departure from the squad.
