Rhode GAA Food Drive 

We are holding a food drive  for the  Ken Smollen food appeal this coming  Saturday November 23rd in Rhode Hall from 10am until 12

 Midday.  items needed for each  family food bag are as follows ;
2 boxes of breakfast cereal, tea, sugar, 3 tins of beans, 2 tins of spaghetti hoops, 2 tins of dessert rice, 3 packets of soup, 2 packets of pasta, jar of pasta sauce, packet of boil-in-the-bag-rice, 3 packets of biscuits and a packet of cream crackers and other items when available including tinned fish/peas/carrots, jam, chocolate and other treats for children.

131st AGM

The 131st AGM of Rhode GAA Club will take place Friday the 6th of December in Rhode GAA Hall at 8pm Sharp. All Members and Intending Members are requested to attend.

Please Note that members would have received their notifications in post. 

.The AGM is an important part of the Clubs calendar where all aspects of the clubs 2019 activities will be up for discussion. All attending the meeting will be requested to sign on arrival with club registrar Ger Noonan and membership for 2020 will be taken on the night and we would request members to do so.

 

 

Rhode U'13 County Football Champions Presentation 

 

Plans are well underway for the presentation of county medals to the u'13 footballers which will take place in December. Further details to follow in the coming weeks. 

 

Rhode GAA Supporters Draw 5 

The Final supporters draw for 2019  will take place on December 21st .

The very best of luck to our Former chairman James Murphy who is running for the position Offaly_GAA Vice Chairman : James has been doing great work for the County whilst serving as development officer and we hope this will continue into the future. 

 

U12 Footballers 

 

Rhode U12 Footballers took part in the Clane tournament on Sunday last. Many thanks to Clane GAA for the invite and also to Declan Curley and Mick Fleming who were in charge of the Rhode Team.

Lotto 

 

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 11th of November for a Jackpot of €7,400.  The numbers drawn were 6 18 25 30.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to Doyle’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €50 each.
