Senior B Hurling Championship Final

Clodiagh Gaels vs Seir Kieran is on Saturday the 19th of October at 4pm in St Brendan’s Park, Birr. Please come out and support the lads on this massive day for the club.

Congratulations

A massive congratulations to Na Fianna minor footballers as they won the county final on Sunday beating Clara by two points. It’s a first minor title arriving back to the parish since St Mary’s won it in 1974.

Best Wishes

Best wishes to Adam Kinahan who is the man in the middle for this weeks Intermediate hurling final between Seir Kieran and Clara. The game takes place in Birr at 2pm on Saturday prior to our Senior B hurling final.

Find The Joker

The results of our fifth find the joker draw are as follows;

1st Prize - Kevin Egan 

2nd Prize - Kevin Egan

3rd Prize - Claire O’Brien

Unfortunately Kevin was unsuccessful in finding the joker this week.

Envelopes are in circulation for our find the joker fundraiser. All you have to do to enter the draw for the jackpot is put €2 in an envelope and your envelope will be put in the drum for the fortnightly draw. The first envelope drawn will have the chance to find the joker. A draw will take place on the night with the first envelope drawn out in with a chance of finding the joker and if unsuccessful finding the joker then they receive €30 with a 2nd prize of €10 and a 3rd prize of €10. The next draw takes place in Grennan’s On The Green on Friday the 25th of October at 9pm and every other draw will be fortnightly thereafter. The jackpot is currently €450.
