U15 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Na Fianna U15 Footballers who had begun the Championship with 2 wins out of 2 saw their 100% record come to an end as Clara claimed a comfortable win in their Rd 3 meeting last Thursday evening in Clara.

MINOR A FOOTBALL CHAMPIOSNSHIP

Having got a bye in the Rd 1 Na Fianna Minor Football no 1 team get their 2019 A Championship campaign underway against Edenderry in Rd 2 this Wednesday (07 August) @ 7:15pm in Geashill. Best of Luck to Players & Management. All Support would be appreciated.

 

U13 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Na Fianna U13 no 1 Football team continue their A Championship campaign against last years U13 winners St Rynaghs in Rd 3 this Friday evening (09 August) @ 7:15pm in Geashill. All Support would be appreciated.

U15 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Na Fianna U15 Footballers take on Rhode in Rd 4 of the Championship next Monday evening (12 Aug) @ 7:15pm in Geashill. All Support would be appreciated.

SENIOR B FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RD 2

It’s 2 defeats out of 2 for Raheen Senior Footballers in the Senior B Championship as Erin Rovers claimed the win in their Rd 2 encounter last Friday evening in Mucklagh on a scoreline of 3-14 to 0-12. In a tight first half the sides swapped scores with Erin Rovers just shading it at the break 0-05 to 0-04. Erin Rovers hit the ground running at the start of the second half despite hitting 2 early wides struck for their first goal on 3 mins from a penalty and adding 7 points to Raheen’s 6 points over the next 15 mins before clinching it with their second goal on 21 mins with a shot from the edge of the square. Raheen did respond with their final 2 points to Erin Rovers 1 before Raheen’s misery was compounded in stoppage time as Erin Rovers were awarded and converted their second penalty of the game and Raheen’s Conor Carroll receiving a red card for the foul with Erin Rovers completing their tally with their final point moments later.
